Our 2020 Vision is "loving God and loving others." All of the Law and prophets hinge upon these two commands. There are no two commands greater than these. We cannot love others if we do not love God, and we do not love God if we do not love others. As a church family this is our vision for 2020 and beyond.

December 29th is a fifth Sunday and our Shepherds have designated the contribution that morning to fund the missions efforts we are a part of here at Eastridge. This week, as we work toward the 29th as a church family, our focus is upon the biblical truth that as believers we do all that we do with the goal of exalting the name of the LORD. This is our final week in a four part series entitled: "The Servant Songs of Isaiah.” Within the Old Testament book of Isaiah there are four portions of Scripture that for millennia have been referred to as “Servant Songs.” In particular, each of these passages points toward the salvation that only God can bring to His people and the God ordained role of suffering to accomplish His promises. Each points to the events ongoing during Isaiah’s ministry, but they also very much...

For five weeks during the sermon series: "What‘s Right With Church?" we have sought to dive deeply into the Word of God with regard to our calling and purpose as a people of the Kingdom. As Christ‘s church we are those who "are called" (the literal definition of "church") and who find our purpose in the message of Jesus. This week we bring our series to a conclusion, seeking to "let loose" the truth of the Gospel in everyday life. Sunday morning...

Grace is a truth from, and quality of, God. That God is the God of grace is in keeping with who He is. Like salvation found in the Gospel, His grace is a gift. And it is gift that must be received. His grace is what precipitates salvation. And His grace is not to be exploited or taken for granted, but rather, it is to be transformative in order that those who belong to the God of grace, might also be a people of grace. Joy is to be at the core of Christian living and yet so often our joy is precisely what the Enemy seeks to take from us. This morning we focus on the gift of joy from God, the anticipation of the "already" and the "not yet" of the Kingdom, and the promises of God that make His joy complete. Biblical hope looks to God and to God’s character. To hope in a biblical sense to be confident in the “God of hope.” It is hope as the basis for trusting in the future regardless of the present. We look forward, by looking back. Sunday morning sermon on 12/02/2018 by Jason Reeves. Romans 15:13

When we follow Jesus well, obedience and humility go hand in hand. They are two sides of the same coin. Only in obedience and in humility can we like the Apostle Paul say that we have been crucified to the world and the world crucified to us. Sunday morning sermon on 09/23/2018 by Jason Reeves. Christians are a people of mission. We are a people who carry out the mission of the Lord. And as the body of Christ, we are also a people who embody the Lord. We speak of being missional, but we are also to be incarnational. It’s not simply that the church has a mission. The mission has a church! Sunday morning sermon on 09/16/2018 by Jason Reeves. The life of faith is fundamentally about God finding us. God through His love and grace and through the Gospel of our Lord finding us and calling us to be His own. But the life of faith is also about finding God. Coming to Him through faith. And, our finding Him in everyday life. Sunday morning sermon on 09/09/2018 by Jason Reeves. Psalm 40

The Gospel of Jesus offers to humanity that which we cannot accomplish on our own: Salvation. Salvation is a gift that we must receive willingly. And because it is a gift, even though in accepting it we belong to God, the Bible is clear: Salvation belongs to our God. Sunday morning sermon on 09/02/2018 by Jason Reeves.
